Hello, I’m Eddie Stableford, the UK’s foremost Food Brand Expert with a proven track record in the creation of successful brands across the globe.

Across my 25-year career in the food and drink industry, during which time I’ve worked with major brands, a myriad of start-ups and had roles in food manufacturing, I’ve learnt what it takes to create outstanding, winning products and brands.

I’ve also defined the critical, often overlooked factors which determine the difference between failure and success across brand strategy, product concept and brand optimisation, commercial and financial planning, manufacturing solutions, initial funding, sales growth funding and working towards the end game and exit strategies.

And as mentor, non-exec board director and business advisor, I have supported many businesses at the start of their journey, in scale-up phase and beyond.

With an inherent ability to place myself in the position of the consumer and to evaluate potential products, brand concepts and designs during the creation stages, I help my clients explore each and every element of the product, brand and packaging communication as a consumer would experience them in real-time – identifying important criteria for leverage.

And by challenging and questioning the potential for success of a concept, I ensure costly errors are avoided at the get-go, providing much needed impartial advice supported by my extensive knowledge and understanding of the food and drink sector.

After all, there is no merit in investing in an idea if it doesn’t have the intrinsic potential to deliver a consistent, profitable, revenue stream. You may believe there is a gap in the market but we need to determine is there a market in the gap!

How I work?

Through my expertise, I’ve helped a myriad of clients to successfully launch new food and drink brands – from product ideation and innovation, to brand strategy creation.

I work ad-hoc or provide end-to-end project support – from concept to launch.

More recently, I have helped businesses with an evaluation of their commercial, operational and sales activity with a focus on improving profitability and increasing revenue.

I also perform NED roles for a number of businesses and mentor both senior and junior teams.
